🏆 Transform Your Child’s Learning at the 2026 World Scholar’s Cup! 🏆
Power of Words Academy is proud to return as the host of the Toronto Regional Round of the World Scholar’s Cup on May 8–9, 2026!
The World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) is a world-renowned academic competition that brings together over 50,000 students from more than 60 countries annually. This is a premier opportunity for young learners to sharpen their critical thinking, practice teamwork, spark their creativity, and build lifelong confidence in a vibrant, international environment.
🌟Why Participate in the world Scholar’s Cup?
"The World Scholar’s Cup may look like a competition, but isn’t one at all. It’s a celebration of learning." — Daniel Berdichevsky, Founder of WSC
This is not a stressful exam; it is a fun, team-based celebration of learning. In teams of three, students participate in four dynamic events:
🗣️ Team Debate: Structured debates that build public speaking, argumentation, and listening skills.
✍️ Collaborative Writing: A team event that develops creativity, structure, and persuasive writing skills.
🧠 Scholar’s Challenge: A multi‑subject quiz that tests broad knowledge and critical thinking.
🎉 Scholar’s Bowl: A fun, fast-paced team quiz where students must think on their feet.
Two Divisions Available:
Junior Division: Ages 10–14
