Schedule a free skills assessment for your child
Power of Words Academy offers after-school writing and public speaking programs for students ages 7 to 15. To be considered for the programs, students must be reading at their grade level. You may choose to have your child complete a FREE written assessment.
The assessment will take up to 45 minutes. We will ask your child to complete a writing sample and a reading comprehension exercise.
The purpose of the assessment is to evaluate your child's language proficiency (reading, writing and oral) in order to determine the appropriate level for your child in the program. The assessment will help us get a good understanding of your child's strengths and identify areas for improvement.
